What’s special about today’s story?

The way this story will take you back to the days when the dream of learning to ride a bicycle was much bigger than buying a big car these days, the simplicity with which this story is written makes it special. We are sure when you will listen to this you will be taken back to the days when you would have rode a bicycle for the first time. Listen to this fun filled story ‘Cycle Ki Sawari’ written by Sudarshan Ji.

सुदर्शन जी हिन्दी और उर्दू के प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार थे। उनका वास्तविक नाम ‘पण्डित बद्रीनाथ भट्ट’ था। सुदर्शन प्रेमचन्द परम्परा के कहानीकार थे। उन्होंने अपनी प्राय: सभी प्रसिद्ध कहानियों में समस्याओं का आदर्शवादी समाधान प्रस्तुत किया है। साहित्य-सृजन के अतिरिक्त पंडित सुदर्शन ने अनेकों फ़िल्मों की पटकथा और गीत भी लिखे थे। ‘हार की जीत’ पंडित बद्रीनाथ भट्ट की पहली कहानी थी| सन 1935 में उन्होंने ‘कुंवारी या विधवा’ फ़िल्म का निर्देशन भी किया। पंडित सुदर्शन ने फ़िल्म ‘धूप-छाँव’ के प्रसिद्ध गीत ‘बाबा मन की आँखें खोल’ का लेखन किया था जो गीत बहुत लोकप्रिय हुआ|
