About Our Guest – Sandeep Shikhar
Sandeep Shikhar born in Dhanbad, jharkhand. He has been a theater practitioner over two decades. He started theater with Dastak Sanskritik Manch, Dhanbad in 1993. As an actor he has performed on national and international stages. He has written 5 dramas till now Treadmill, Nariyal Paani, Deluxe Hair Cutting, Commissioned, Thook. He has also written poems & short stories published in Hans Patrika one of the oldest Hindi magazines. He is a recipient of Vinod Doshi Fellowship Award. He is co-founder of the Indian Ensemble, Bangalore based theater group with Abhishek Majumdar. He has worked in web series like Panchayat.

Saadat Hasan Manto who is known to be a prophetic & daring writer of the 20th century & one of the finest Urdu writers. A writer who has felt pain of partition & has put that into words in his stories. His short stories Juta & Ulahan depicts the real picture of our society which wasn’t only applicable at that time but today as well.
