About Author – Ruskin Bond

Ruskin Bond born in Kasauli,Himachal Pradesh. Most of his works are influenced by life in the hill stations where he spent his childhood. When he started writing in 1950s there were not many books so he wrote for a lot for magazines and newspapers. He wrote his first novel, The Room on the Roof, when he was seventeen.
